A CPR manikin with monitoring feedback is an adult trainer that displays compression depth and rate on an electronic console. The unit on this site is KSh 210,000. A trainer without a monitor is cheaper. It cannot tell a class whether 5 cm and 100 compressions a minute actually happened.
What the console flags
- Hand position on the sternum
- Depth (too shallow, correct, too deep)
- Ventilation volume
- Cycle count for 30:2 drills
Who needs it
